Rodrigo Salgado

Rodrigo Salgado is a radiologist at Antwerp University Hospital and Holy Heart hospital Lier. His main field of interest is the non-invasive CT/MR imaging of cardiovascular disease, with special focus on valvular and coronary imaging. Currently he is Secretary of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology, chair of the cardiovascular section of the Belgian Society of Radiology where he’s also board member, and cardiovascular section editor for ESR Eurorad. He serves in the scientific editorial board of Insights Into Imaging and editorial board in IJCVI. Previously, he was chair of the Cardiac scientific subcommittee for ECR 2020, chair of the New Media & Communications committee of ESCR, and was ESCR congress president in 2019. He’s a frequent speaker at international meetings and has written several papers and book chapters.
